Northern Parasol Presents... Hungry @ Aatma. Ft. Vespertines, Giovanni's Room & Thee Spicy Leviathan.

In July 2022, Boris Johnson was still Prime Minister, the World Cup should've taken place and Charles's only title was having a bridge named after him on the M4. More importantly, Northern Parasol was formed.

It's now the end of the year, we've had three Prime Minister's since, Charles is now King and the World Cup has begun. Northern Parasol is also still here. And we aren't going anywhere. 

Except home for Christmas. 

Then out for New Year so we won't be doing anything then.

Aaron is also going to the 1975 in early January so a gig around then is unlikely. 

But we will be back in (February) 2023. 
 

So, for our third and final event of 2022, we return to Aatma. This time we are super excited to be presenting Hungry as our headliners. 4 years experience playing around this city hasn't diluted this bluesy outfits raw energy and they have been featured on BBC Introducing. We are thrilled to have them on board as our headliners.

We are also thrilled to have Vespertines heading up the support for this event. Their indie grooves evocative of mid-naughties Shane Meadows movie soundtracks, they are a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Having just announced their first ever headline show too, they are a band going places.

They are joined by relative newcomers Giovanni's Room and complete newcomers Thee Spicy Leviathan. Northern Parasol are so excited to offer the latter there first ever gig, we have no doubt it will be the first of many. We are also really looking forward to showcase what Giovanni's Room have to offer the scene, because from what we've heard, it's an offering greater than an eccles cake.

We also couldn't be more happy to return to Aatma, the stage of our first ever event. That night's success was partly due to the amazing reception and co-operation we had from the entire team at Aatma, so to return so quickly is a real honour.

With a foot now firmly in the door, Northern Parasol are not going anywhere. This may be it for 2022, but we know too many talented artists we want to showcase at as many of the amazing venues around this city for us to stop now. But until then, this event will see us doff our caps to this year.

Important Information

This is an 18+ event. 

However, 16 & 17 year olds will be permitted as long as they are accompanied by an adult and the ticket is in the name of the adult accompanying them. If a ticket is purchased by someone under 18, in the name of someone 18 or entry is attempted without an accompanying 18 year old, you will not be permitted entry and your ticket will not be refunded.

The Challenge 25 policy will be followed on the door, so ensure you have bring a valid ID with you. If you fail to produce one upon request at the door, you will not get in and your ticket will not be refunded. This applies to 18-25 year olds too, as this will ensure you can be served at the bar.
