The Leopard Crown by Rich Kinsiona
Grosvenor East Theatre
September 15th, 7pm
The Leopard Crown is a solo, laboratory performance exploring Congolese family memory, colonial violence, ancestral storytelling and survival. Beginning in a hospital room where a son visits his mother, the piece slips into a reimagined Congolese version of The Girl Without Hands, using movement, voice, sound, projection and object work.
