Zo Lief with support from Sundress and Quila Dreams

Red Telephone presents Zo Lief join us at Hallamshire Hotel on Saturday 11th October as part of their Hypnosis Tour. Support comes from Sundress and Quila Dreams.

"Hypnotic. Heavenly. Heavy. Zo Lief craft a kaleidoscopic sound that alludes a whimsical nostalgia. Collaging velvety vocals with fuzzy guitars, they bounce around the walls of psychedelia, dream pop, chamber pop, indie and garage rock.

Retro infused yet forward thinking, the unique collaboration of musical and romantic partners Laura Chen (Dutch singer-songwriter and guitarist) and James Atwood (British multi-instrumentalist) is marked by catchy hooks and playful poetic lyrics that render life and love through an alluring, cinematic lens. Performing as a three-piece band, they bring their imaginative productions to life

Zo Lief's 4 track debut EP "Believe What You Believe" was independently released via AWAL in March 2023. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, the EP was released on 10" vinyl in September 2024 and celebrated with a sold out London headline show

The band have toured extensively in the UK and Europe, supporting the likes of NewDad, Zimmer 90, Temples, LO Moon and Iraina Mancini. In 2024, they played over 45 festivals and shows at renowned venues and new music hotspots in Amsterdam, London, Paris, Berlin, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Cardiff."

2025 will see Zo Lief release further singles and promote the release of their new EP 'Hypnosis' which came out on March 28th.
