We’re excited to announce a night of raucous rock music, a big sweaty party at Gut Level featuring some of the finest young guitar bands England has to offer.
Headlining are Uncle Junior, scene favourites making the journey up from South London. With a debut EP on the way, the noise-rock trio are crafting their own eccentric take on harder-edged sounds, honed through some mental live shows across the capital.
Main support comes from Charlemagne, one of the tightest bands around right now, swapping Brixton for Sheffield for one night only. When asked by BBC 6 Music to describe their sound, they landed on the term “hyper rock”.
Omertà are frenetic and confrontational with no restraint, and will be fresh off a Windmill headline for their debut single ‘Gay Hitler’ out in January. And last but certainly not least, we have Meridian opening things up, a brand new Sheffield rock and roll band for whom this will be only their third gig.
Doors at 7pm.
