The Simon Hough Band

Simon Hough former lead singer with Big Country for over a decade.

With Simon,Mark and Gil taking a break from “From Big Country” till later this year, it’s given all of us the chance to concentrate on different projects.
Simon's passion being, writing and performing his own material with a great band plus recording.

One of his songs “Falling” has reached No1 in Mike Reads World Wide Heritage Chart, and also just entered USA Rob Masters chart at No 17 which is absolutely fantastic!
This being the case, "I’ve been asked if I’ll be playing any shows with my own band, so I thought, it would nice to play some intimate venues throughout the Uk, and Europe." - Simon Hough

The Simon Hough Band has now been formed with a fabulous new line up which includes:-
Simon, vocals & guitar former front man with Big Country.

Gil Alan… former Bass player & vocals Big Country.
Danny Jones Guitar Vocals East Lancs based Indie Band Outsider
Martin Shorrock, Drummer & vocals from Denny Laine Band.

Liam Sutherland, keyboards & vocals ..Studio/keyboard, engineer, Snow Patrol/Skids.
The Heritage Chart has been running for a good number of years… run by former Radio 1 and TV personality Mike Read, which features great artists and their music both on Heritage Chart Radio and TV.
