The Candlelit Sessions Starring Lydia Prettyman with support from Emma Taylor & The Wallflowers and Rose Aree

Daybreak Promotions presents their next sought after Candlelit Session, starring Lydia Prettyman with support from Emma Taylor & The Wallflowers for a night of intimate performances by some of Manchester's best emerging singer-songwriters. Final support to be announced ...

Lydia is a vibrant force in the Manchester music scene. Since recently locating to the city, she has played headline gigs across Manchester and London. Lydia's music is a mixture of indie-pop meets soul and jazz. Her recent single, 'Craft', is one which has gained a lot of attention live and on the radio (BBC Music Introducing, Future Hits) and shows an exciting upcoming road for her music career.

As played on BBC Radio Lancashire, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, Emma Taylor and the Wallflowers released their debut single Fade in fall of 2023.  Residing in Manchester, they are a band of interchanging featured musicians, collaborating with singer-songwriter and front woman, Emma Taylor. Drawing upon influences of poetic lyricism from singer-songwriters Matilda Mann, Phoebe Bridges and Holly Humberstone, the band present this voice into a Fleetwood Mac inspired sound, captivating audiences with their storytelling and addictive melodies.

Rose Aree is a 19 year-old Singer-Songwriter based in Manchester. The Sheffield born vocalist found her love for music at age six, singing along to her parents CDs in the car to school. Inspired by her parents' lyric sentric taste in music, Rose Aree began writing music in her early teens, taking time to curate her sound through different performance opportunities and collaborations.

Throughout 2022 and 2023 Rose Aree worked closely with several artists and producers, making BBC Introducing Airtime several months in a row, creating a live set for the station, and even performing through BBC Introducing at the Craufurd Arms. Looking forward Rose Aree hopes to build her presence in the industry as a solo artist and songwriter, playing live gigs and releasing music.
