This immersive 2–3 hour event will feature a professional external gele tier who will guide attendees through the art of tying gele which is the iconic Nigerian headwrap known for its elegance and cultural significance. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, you’ll receive expert, hands-on instruction to help you confidently style your own gele.
As you learn, enjoy Afrobeats and other Nigerian sounds, light refreshments, and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere designed for connection and networking. Take photos, show off your finished look, and meet fellow students from across the university community in a fun and social setting.
