Glasmis Castle is another one of Scotland's great castles, packed with a lot of history and significance. It was the childhood home of the Queen Mother (Queen Elizabeth) and the Queen's sister, Princess Margaret, was born here.

Glamis Castle is located in the town of Angus which is a neighboring town to Dundee, another of Scotland's major cities. So it is only right that we visit Dundee as well.

Included in the tour are:

--> A 50-minute guided tour of Glamis Castle. --> Tour the formal gardens which are vast and extensive. --> Access the grand Family Exhibition Room with its grand paintings and history

DUNDEE

Dundee is the UK's first ever designated UNESCO City of Design. That should tell you all you need to know about its innovation and guile.

It boasts a beautiful coastline with a great mix of vintage and modern. After the tour of the Castle, we will be dropped of in the city centre and we will each get a chance to individually explore what this city has to offer.

Highlights include:

--> The RRS DIscovery ... the last traditional wooden three-masted ship to be built in Britain. It famously took Captain Scott on his remarkable tour of Antartica.

--> Mills Observatory ... where you can see incredible images of the moon and stars.

--> Dundee Science Centre ... where you can survey the amazing scientific advances to come from this city. Also get to explore space in the planetarium, move a ball with the power of your mind, morph into an ape, try out some fun science experiments and meet the robots!
