Student Plus Welcome Event- In person

Welfare@CampusLife would like to invite you to our in-person Student Plus welcome event.

On Thursday 8th September, we will be holding an in-person welcome event in The Mall Room, Taliesin, Singleton Campus starting at 10am and finishing around 4pm. 

The Student Plus programme aims to support student carers, care leavers, commuter students, mature students, student parents, students who are estranged from their family or someone who is just coming back from a period of suspension.

We recognise that those within the Student Plus programme may have different needs than the rest of the student population and taking that into consideration, we would like to invite you to a welcome day so you can listen to talks from Student Services, the Student's Union and Academics tailored for you. It will also give you the opportunity to meet people, ask questions to a wide-range of University staff and start to make plans for your first year as a Swansea University student.

Hot and cold beverages will be included throughout the day and also lunch.

If you have any dietary needs, requirements, or allergies, you must take responsibility to ensure that these are not compromised. If you email us at d.l.richards@swansea.ac.uk with details at least 3 working days before the event we will try to arrange a suitable provision for your needs, however we cannot guarantee this.
