Sunbird Records prsents Kurt Lloyd + Lucas Williams + The Dolts
Kurt Lloyd
Iconic vocals and burnt-toast rough tones—Kurt Lloyd is no stranger to embracing his unmistakable Northern identity.
A former trailblazer on the East Lancs music scene in his teenage years, he unexpectedly vanished from the local scene, vowing never to return after his band broke up in late 2015.
Returning at the tender age of 27, he’s more determined than ever to make amends for lost time and give the world what it’s been missing: lyrics that actually mean something, anthemic choruses, and raw authenticity. A complete 180 from the current indie scene, he’s classic yet in the same breath a gust of fresh air. Reviving something the whole world has lacked for a while, yet still loyal to the influences who inspired him.
Influenced by idols ranging from Bob Dylan, Noel Gallagher, Jake Bugg, Jesse Welles, and the Velvet Underground.
‘Articulate and well-read—as reflected in his lyrics—yet unashamedly Northern to his very bones, he’s folk, he’s indie, he’s everything in between, and he’s going places.’
Lucas Williams - Hailing from Fleetwood, Lancashire, Lucas is a singer-songwriter who has been performing live since the age of 12. Having built experience playing a variety of local venues including supporting Reverend and the Makers. Lucas is back for a third time and again with his band engaging with audiences in a raw and authentic way.
The Dolts - The latest band to emerge from Blackburn and its desolute nightlife. Mixing punk and indie The Dolts have an alternative sound as show cased by their debut single 'Scenery' released in June 2026.
