A Different Thread is a collaboration between Robert Jackson from Lichfield, UK and Alicia Best from North Carolina, USA. Their americana sound embraces elements of country, English folk, and Appalachian blues.

The transatlantic nature of the duo also means they can't always perform together and so for this tour, Jackson takes the centre stage, backed by bass and lead guitar. As poets and traveller at heart, the band’s lyrics deal with reckoning, love, longing, and the call of the open road.
