Úna Quinn is a singer-songwriter and producer from Armagh in the north of Ireland. Her latest album, Little Anthem is a colourful and finessed production featuring various musical guests from Liverpool and Ireland. It also includes contributions from Liverpool musician Neil Campbell as co-writer and instrumentalist on some of the tracks. One of its tracks, Those Roads, was commissioned by Liverpool Irish Festival to commemorate the Irish Great Hunger.Liverpool composer and guitarist Neil Campbell has been described by Classical Guitar Magazine as ‘an outstanding guitarist whose originality of thought makes him far more than just another gifted purveyor of finger acrobatics’.For The Experimental Folk night Úna and Neil will be performing a set for voice and guitar featuring a selection of music from Úna's two solo albums Inside Out and Little Anthem. In their live sets Neil's solo guitar is expanded upon using loops, delays and other electronic effects to create multi-layered backdrops for Úna's haunting and poignant vocals.
