Following a dazzling performance at Sheffield’s YellowArch Studios earlier in the year, Sorebones return to host their biggest party yet.
This time, they’re heading underground — bringing their noisy alternative dream pop to the atmospheric, 200-cap basement of Sidney & Matilda. Feels like the one, doesn’t it?
Joining them are Sheffield indie-pop sweethearts Sundress, along with London-based post-punk Velcrow and dreamy garage-rock outfit Yurn.
Tickets: £10
Ages: 16+
Saturday 15th November
Sundress are a jangly, dreamy indie pop four-piece from Sheffield, blending the lush textures of early '90s dream pop with a refreshing modern edge. Fronted by Chelsea Costello’s ethereal vocals, with Bradley Widdowson’s intricate guitar work and Elliott Mawbey’s hypnotic bass grooves, the band draws inspiration from icons like The Sundays to create soundscapes that feel like rediscovering a nostalgic memory—familiar yet full of surprises.
Rooted in themes of love and introspection, Sundress are redefining dream pop while carving out a path entirely their own. In the past year, they’ve made an impressive mark, performing on the Sarah Nulty Main Stage at Tramlines, the BBC Introducing Stage at Rock and Roll Circus, and at Kendal Calling in the Lake District. Their debut release has already surpassed 100,000 Spotify streams, capturing hearts in Sheffield and further afield.
