The Line Up
Phil Nichol is an internationally renowned comedian, actor, writer, director, and musician. As a stand-up, Phil has performed in 52 countries, toured award-winning solo shows worldwide, and filmed five comedy specials, including the Edinburgh Comedy Award–winning The Naked Racist and Nearly Gay for ITV2. His most recent international tour show Your Wrong played over 130 shows in 13 countries. Early in his career, Phil spent ten years with seminal Canadian comedy act Corky and the Juice Pigs, including two seasons on MADtv.
Phil’s television appearances include Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Graham Norton Show, Live at the Comedy Store, The Standup Show, The World Stands Up, Spicks and Specks, The Alternative Comedy Experience, Edinburgh and Beyond, and The Project, as well as the Just for Laughs, and the Melbourne and New Zealand Comedy Festival TV galas.
Simon Wozniak has quickly establish himself as one to watch, hotly-tipped by the industry as a future star. Still only relatively new to the circuit, Simon’s frenetic and opinionated style has seen him rise phenomenally through the ranks and he can now be seen performing regularly at some of the biggest and best comedy clubs in the country.
Winner of both the Nottingham Comedy Festival New Act of the Year and the World Series Panel Prize, Beat The Frog, he was the runner-up in the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.
Cheerfully self-deprecating, Simon is a comic who is confident with joke structure and can use his skills to present unpredictable punchlines which take the wind out of his audience!
Seeta Wrightson is this month's 'Mad Jack's' newcomer. 2025 Female Pilot Club Winner, Commissioned Playwright, BBC new comedy awards semi-finalist, Seeta Wrightson, based in Leeds, is a Bradford-born comedian known for her sharp wit and engaging stories. Wrightson’s work often draws on her dual Asian and British heritage.
Resident MC Danny McLoughlin has the sharp wit & material, likeable persona and strong stage presence that have seen him become a much sought after act in his short time as a stand up. A finalist in the Chortle Student Comedian of The Year in 2008, Danny went on to perform as part of the prestigious Big Value Comedy Show during Edinburgh Festival 2009. He also supported Al Pitcher on his UK Tour and is booked by some of the UK's biggest gigs and promoters.
