SOLID PLEASURE with support from Death Drive.
Solid Pleasure is a synth pop duo made up of Neave Merrick and Lucy Milani. The project blends mutant disco, Italo body music and no wave: all genres that soundtracked Neave’s somewhat solitary teenage years on the Isle of Wight. Back then, he honed his production skills using just a synth, a guitar, a battered vocal mic, and a Tascam 4-track tape recorder—a stripped-down, analog process he’s now returned to after years in the digital wilderness.

Death Drive is a London based duo with Carine Fierobe (vocals, FX) and Danny Sanchez (synths, drum machines, FX). Having been around for just over a year, they have already shared stages with the likes of Nuovo Testamento, Buzz Kull, Night in Athens and Kontravoid.
Their sound is raw, ritualistic, and confrontational exploring themes of identity, corruption and salvation, while influenced by Neo Noir, Darkwave, Synthpop, Industrial and Post-Punk.
