Chain Reaction x Avant Sector Present: Loefah, Chinese Daughter & More

We are back with Avant Sector to bring Newcastle a standout show in SR44. We will be taking you on a dark, heavy and mystifying journey through Techno/Dubstep/Jungle and more. Bringing a show like this to Newcastle and hosting members of the Swamp 81 crew is an absolute honour. 

Loefah - Croydon based producer, one of the forefathers of the Original Dubstep sound with standout work all cross the board. An ominous, dark, distinctive sound with classics such as: Dubsession with Digital Mystikz (DMZ), Jungle infiltrator (Big Apple Records), 28g with Skream (Tectonic) & Disco Rekah/All of a sudden with Coki (Deep Medi Music). In 2009 Loefah founded the label Swamp 81: named after Operation Swamp 81, the stop and search laws put in place in 1981 throughout the South London area of Brixton and which directly lead to the infamous race riots of that year. Multi genre productions from the likes of Bodikka, Benton, Zed Bias, Ramadanman, Skream, Joy Orbison, Pinch and so many more - exploring the lower tempos with the introduction of the true terror seen in the early dubstep days. 

Chinese Daughter - South London born Chinese Daughter is a vinyl only Swamp 81 DJ. She showcases her favourite selections of original, new, and future, Jungle records and the sounds of bass-lead old school rave, and future hardcore, and breaks she finds in between. Having worked with Rinse FM and Loefah closely this combination of artists will be unmissable to see together; serious stuff.
