Gdansk81, The High Rip, Roxanne and the Reprobates.

Gdansk81 are fresh back from recently being asked back to support The Chameleons for a second time! They are putting on a home town show!

Gdansk81 are based in both Liverpool and Manchester.

Their music is hard to define but if you’re fans of Joy Division then you’ll enjoy these! (I also think they sound similar to Molchat Doma too)

I discovered these on Spotify and booked them to take part in Octoband Fest but they are keen to do a summer show too and so here it is!!

Supporting them will be The High Rip who I also absolutely love!!

These too are Liverpool-based.

It’s difficult to define their music although to me they remind me very much of The Chesterfields. They produce high energy songs with great riffs,great lyrics and vocals. They are always great fun to watch and I always look forward to seeing them again. They are one of those bands who you see and think “wow! I enjoyed that I would see them again!”

The first band of the night will be Roxanne and The Reprobates who have been invited to join this show by members of The High Rip after seeing them perform at an open mic night over at The Swinging Arm in Birkenhead. They have been making waves on the open mic scene and have been offered other support slots based on those performances. I haven’t seen these live yet so it will be a new experience for me too!!

Tickets will be a variety of prices depending on your budget and how much you would like to contribute towards the costs of putting this show on and also to pay the musicians themselves.
