TOO DAMN LOUD FESTIVAL '27

Back for its third year, Too Damn Loud Festival celebrates and supports culture, talent and inclusivity through live music. While remaining a non-profit fundraising focused festival, the event brings together bands and artists from across a range of genres to celebrate creativity and community. 

Sheffield has always been a city deeply rooted in music, and with TDL Fest, our goal is to honour that legacy by creating a space where people can let loose, connect, and enjoy live music together.

The festival also exists for a deeply personal reason. In March 2023, we lost one of the biggest music lovers many of us knew, Chris Wright, affectionately known as Big Chris. Alongside his bandmate Brian, Chris helped organise a festival called Plug In for Parkinson’s in 2022. With Too Damn Loud Festival, we want to continue the legacy they started and honour Big Chris in the most natural way possible: through live music.

Our lineup is built around bands Chris loved, supported, and would undoubtedly have grown to love had his life not been cut short.
