Cypher16 are a young, innovative and refreshingly original rock band who harness metal and a hint of industrial to create a truly massive sound. The band have toured in seventeen countries including multiple tours of China and India, playing shows and festivals with the likes of Amaranthe, Fear Factory, Children Of Bodom, Behemoth, Lamb Of God and Slayer.

The 'Determine' EP was released in April 2013 by Metal Hammer Magazine and has received further rave reviews, with the debut album expected early 2014. Cypher16 have recently played at this year's Bloodstock Festival, featuring SLAYER, LAMB OF GOD,  ANTHRAX and many more.

2014 saw 'The March Of Nations' run, which covered ten countries around the world (including China), and numerous festivals such as HAMMERFEST (Soilwork/Kreator/Overkill), TRONDHEIM METAL FEST (Behemoth/Devin Townsend/At The Gates) and MIDI FESTIVAL (Fear Factory/Wayne Static). The band also hit the studio to record the long awaited debut album, with renowned producer Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead/ Bullet For My Valentine/ Funeral For A Friend).

In February 2015 Cypher16 joined AMARANTHE on a tour which included shows in Sweden, Finland and Estonia. This was shortly followed up by a monster 17-date second tour in CHINA, including festivals headlined by The Scorpions and Killswitch Engage. 

In October 2015, the band released the debut album ‘The Great Surveyor’, produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead, Bullet For My Valentine, Bring Me The Horizon). METAL HAMMER MAGAZINE'S editor Alex Milas called it:
“Crushing joy from one of metal’s truly pioneering bands” 

POWERPLAY MAGAZINE gave the record 10/10 and said Cypher16 are:

"...undoubtedly one of the most exciting young acts in Britain right now...Cypher16 look set to drop one of the most extraordinary releases of the year".

In 2016 the band performed again at HAMMERFEST 2016, with Cradle of Filth, Exodus and many more. After this they returned to headline The Underworld in London, before heading out on tour with AMARANTHE once more, this time to Norway. After that a London support with SOILWORK before the band announced they would head to the USA and CANADA for a 24-date supporting AMARANTHE.

After touring in the US and CANADA with AMARANTHE in 2017 Cypher16 released the long-awaited video for 'Open The Dark Door'. The video was filmed at the Natural History Museum in London (the only band who have ever been allowed to film such a video at the museum), and is now available to watch. 2018 sees a UK headline tour with much more to come.
