Dana Immanuel is a banjo-toting, whiskey-drinking, poker-playing singer-songwriter, and with her stolen band, bring a sound more usually associated with the bayou, triple filtered through bourbon, washboard, and a touch of alt-country eccentricity. With the five-piece, all-girl band, Dana has built a firm reputation in the UK folk, blues, Americana and rock scenes, and will get your feet stomping.

We first met Ewan performing on a field, (unexpectadley crashing his leaving party), to mark his new venture over the pond to Canada. It's been a few years since then and BTGR had to pin him down he is back touring with his Canadian/Scottish band.

He weaves his own blend of folk pop traditions and is hailed as "a welcome moment in the future of Scottish music". Live shows feature beautiful string arrangements, ripping solos, soaring harmonies and heartfelt lyrical content.

He recorded 2 critically acclaimed albums with the band, receiving stellar reviews from Mojo, Q, The Guardian, Irish Times, Uncut, Irish Mail on Sunday, Hot Press as well as live TV performances on RTE's 'The Late Late Show' & 'The View'. Rooted in the storytelling folk genre, Ewan infuses his music with layers of Swing, Scottish trad, Bluegrass, Jazz Soul, Blues and Pop.
