About WOW

The WOW Zone is WCHG’s learning centre based at the Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre, in Wythenshawe, Manchester. All our learning programmes are delivered on site in our dedicated Apple Mac suite, involving the creative use of ICT. Students and teachers will be using the latest technology as a platform to enhance their learning and thrive in a positive environment.

Aims of the WOW Zone:

To provide opportunities for personal, social, educational and emotional development of local children.
To raise the confidence, self esteem and aspirations of children from the Wythenshawe community, who would otherwise be disadvantaged.
To make a positive contribution to the regeneration of Wythenshawe.

CPD:

All of our training sessions are for educators and will be delivered by Lisa Whittaker and Louise Zwanepoel, (unless otherwise stated) both qualified teachers and Apple Distinguished Educators (Class of 2015).
