Big Country Redux head to York's The Crescent Community Venue with the unmistakable sound that made them one of the UK’s defining rock bands. Support comes from Evan Peters Presents The Alarm, honouring the enduring legacy and spirit of Mike Peters’ iconic Welsh rock outfit. We are now down to the LAST 50 TICKETS. Also heading to York in September and selling fast is Young troubadour Connor Selby signed to Provogue Records in December 2022 – home to icons such as Joe Bonamassa, Beth Hart, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Jonny Lang. One of the brightest talents on the UK blues scene. He has been voted “Young Artist of the Year” at the UK Blues Awards for the last three consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022) and he already has an impressive venue checklist, including Wembley Stadium, where he opened for The Who in July 2019 and has since gone on to play Hyde Park, London, with Pearl Jam, Stereophonics and Johnny Marr in the summer of 2022. Jack Broadbent, Duke Special & Tom Bright - New Shows
Hi All We've a host of great shows coming up over the next few months. May see's Jack Broadbent hit Lincoln and York. Combining elements of Blues, Folk, Rock n Roll and Jazz, Jack Broadbent has been thrilling audiences on the international festival circuit, including Montreux Jazz Festival, where he was hailed as “the new master of the slide guitar”. June see Tom Bright perform at Rise after last years sell out show. Championed by voices across BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music, singer-songwriter Tom Bright's work sits somewhere between bruised folk and widescreen indie. We also have Duke Special heading to Hull to play bat The Polar Bear. Celebrating 20 years of debut album 'Songs From The Deep Forest', Duke Special brings his singular sound - romantic piano melodies, curious instrumentation and a theatrical presence - to Hull for one night only at Polar Bear Music Club on Friday 5th June. Jack Broadbent, Riva Taylor, Tom Bright - New Shows
Morning !!!! We've a host of new shows on sale for you after a fantastic January. Combining elements of Blues, Folk, Rock n Roll and Jazz, Jack Broadbent has been thrilling audiences on the international festival circuit, including Montreux Jazz Festival, where he was hailed as “the new master of the slide guitar”. He brings his fragile-to-full-throttle sound to Lincoln's The Engine Shed and York's National Centre for Early Music this May. Riva Taylor blends jazz, pop and Latin influences into something soulful and cinematic. Critically praised, quietly influential, and exceptional in intimate rooms, she joins us in York at Rise @ Bluebird Bakery in April. Plus we have Tom Bright playing Rise after a previous sell out York show. Bruise Control head to Hull and York this March . Plus we've limited tickets left for The Hara in Hull also in March. Oh and did we mention that The Duke Special heads to Polar Bear Hull this June. Wow lets take a deep breath. See you at one or two shows!
