It’s an event that has stomachs rumbling year after year and now Tynemouth Food Festival is branching out by hosting a Winter Edition for the first time.

Hot on the heels of this year’s summer event, which had foodies flocking to the coast in their droves in May, organisers of the annual festival, have announced that there will be another installment later this year and tickets are already flying out!

Other than the dates - November 25 and 26 - and the venue - Tynemouth Priory - details on the new Winter Edition are still few and far between but tickets are already on sale.

Tynemouth Food Festival is known for championing local produce, with many Tyneside-based setting out their stalls to tickle tastebuds and quench thirsts, so there is sure to be plenty on the menu come November.

Companies at the May festival included Fat Hippo, The Little Fishy, Zapatista, Papa Ganoush, On the Goa, The Brownie Bar, Northumberland Cheese Company, The Twisted Chilli and Ellie’s Cupcakes.

As well as plenty of food stands, the Winter Edition will also have a bar marquee serving a selection of beers, spirits & alcoholic hot chocolate as well as a new Wine & Prosecco horsebox of course serving a fantastic mulled wine! Alcohol not bought on site is not allowed to be consumed at the event.
