The Only Normal People

It’s a question that has weighed on the minds of six artists from Sheffield, and now they want an answer. Formed in 2025, The Only Normal People are a British alternative band, taking a guitar driven energy to explore what it means to be human in the modern world, in a sound suited to fans of R.E.M, The National, and Oasis. With members including a former aerospace carpenter, and a neuroscientist who designs instruments for people with dementia, they’re far from conventional, but even The Only Normal People struggle to make sense of the world as it is, and hope their music will lead them to others who feel the same. Their debut single ‘Babylon’ will be released on Friday 9th January, taken from their upcoming EP ‘Experiments with Light’, out on Friday 30th January.
