The Ogg Shaped Theatre Company

The Ogg Shaped Theatre Company is an exciting new theatre company devoted to new writing and innovative performance.
That's the posh way of putting it! The fact of the matter is that we want to see great new writing and work hard to turn that writing into live performance . Not just any old writing but writing and performance that makes you think, makes you talk, makes you question. For example, our fantastic new comedy" The Rugby Tour" is a play about a bunch of rugby lads being silly and foolish...or is it? ( cue inquisitive music ) . If we can make an audience laugh, cry, think, talk then in our opinion that is a job well done.

We welcome scripts to be read, collaberations, opinions, ideas and anything else you can think of.

Writing is hard work and getting that work performed even harder. The Ogg shaped theatre laughs in the face of hardness and yes, hardness does sound quite funny!
