STUPID UNDERGROUND / biography

Stupid Underground held their first event at the Custard Factory, Birmingham in February 2005 and proceeded to finance and promote 7 of their own events in total in this year.

Between January 2007 and September 2011 they proceeded to sell out to complete capacity 12 of their events and have gained a reputation for throwing some massive parties, showcasing the highest profile Djs in the business, often 5 rooms of different music, and even free entry before midnight to all its customers!

Stupid Underground loves all forms of electronic music, especially Breakbeat, Underground House & Techno and Drum n Bass.

Managed by former Godskitchen promoter and former programmer of the entire Custard Factory nightclub and Space 2 warehouse music diary and also Friday night Gatecrasher resident Steve Carter (Dj Get Carter), Stupid Underground is an experienced promotional force and their packed parties never disappoint.

When Stupid Underground have an event on it seems like the whole City knows about it, with months of preparation and promoting going in to each event, the end result is often very exciting indeed.

Their free parties are also establishing themselves as pretty mental affairs and it seems that the only real stupid people are those that don’t go as these parties are must attend events on any sane persons clubbing calendar.
