What's up Plot crew? We are aware of the financial squeeze that everybody is feeling right now, which is having its impact on all areas of our lives. Despite this, we're still committed to providing high-quality events for our community, aiming to strike that balance between affordability and fair pricing. We'll be honest - it's really difficult to make things balance in the grassroots music sector. Rather than admitting defeat, we'd like to double-down on inclusivity. With this in mind, we've added a 'cost-of-living' buster ticket to Friday's event, which offers 5% of the total ticket allocation at a discount of 50% off final release. We'd really like these to go to people on low incomes so please bear this in mind when purchasing. Despite ongoing difficulties in the wider grassroots and community music sector, we are committed to pushing forward with a diverse programme of ambitious events for our plot fam. Over the next few weeks we play host to a wide range of artists playing sounds from across the spectrum of underground music. We're seriously excited to welcome Dave Haslam, a legend of British Dance music who DJed at The Haçienda in its formative years before going on to be an acclaimed writer. His library of music is eclectic, extensive and his set promises to be an experience to remember! Coming up THIS weekend, we're hosting our FINAL 'Sober Social' event of this series TONIGHT, which promises free live & DJ performances from members of our community. We're also hosting the UoS Music Culture Society tomorrow which promises electronic delights. Next weekend we host dubwise DnB & Jungle legend Benny Page and the first Sheffield outing for The Trance Empire. Plot crew - we are here for you! <3

Easy crew! Despite the difficulties in the grassroots music sector and the recent loss of one of Sheffield's favourite music spots (Dorothy Pax), we're still hopeful for the future and are committed to providing our platform for underground music in the steel city. After a quiet start to 2025, we're back this week with a belter from regular promoters Simpler Times, the close crew of Sheffield and Manchester based DJs and producers bringing their usual dose of melodic house and techno. Plot 22 presents returns the following week, with a takeover from HOT CAKES, kickstarting the Spring season with extended sets from Deekline and Katalyst alongside Rolla B and Plot 22 resident LUNAR. There's also some other really exciting stuff going on this month with the MUSIC, SEEN fundraver for the British Deaf Association, as well as the return of the UoS Music Culture Society. We also look forward to welcoming British dance music legends Benny Page and Dave Haslam in April and May. big love

Before we get get back into the swing of things with regular weekly events in March 25, we are excited to host amledd presents for their debut event at the plot, which promises to be one for the history books. Featuring a rare appearance from Chicago's footwork legend DJ SPINN, with support from Shannon From Admin and Sterlo, this event is sure to trigger FOMO in the most resilient of ravers! This is a rare opportunity to see DJ Spinn in a 120 cap venue! Tickets are moving fast and we expect this one to sell out, so don't hang about or you might just be left out in the cold!
