This Thursday we welcome the University of Sheffield Music Culture Society back into the venue for their second Polyrhythms event. If the first one was anything to go by then this should be another exciting one not to miss - tickets are available from £0 - £5 so don't miss out!!! This Friday night we welcome STEEL CITY DNB into the plot for their first event - a DnB winter warmer! Again, with tickets available from just £5, we are offering maximum value for the steel city ravers this weekend! Cheap and cheerful it may be, this will also be high quality, with top tunes bangin out through our professional VOID soundsystem install throughout. Easy peeps! This is a polite reminder that we are holding the 10 years of RiteTrax show THIS FRIDAY at Yellow Arch Studios! Celebrating a decade of our social enterprise in the steel city, we've invited breakbeat techno legend ALTERN 8 to headline proceedings, joined by an esteemed bunch of Sheffield selectas and live artists to keep you wiggling until the wee hours. We'll also be hosting a special live graff showcase in the courtyard, as well as taking you down memory lane exploring 10 years of RiteTrax. This one is not to be missed! Easy Plot 22 crew! As summer draws to a close, we're reopening our doors for some fantastic club events over the next few months, platforming everything from hiphop and DnB to electro, techno, footwork, UKG and more. With the continuation of our 'LOCAL' series, we're showcasing local Sheffield and South Yorkshire-based promoters and DJs while ensuring an affordable night out for the crewdem. Our programme continues to evolve, hosting internationally acclaimed artists like PJ Bridger and Nikki Nair on consecutive weeks at the start of September. As ever, we're committed to keeping club nights accessible and continue to allocate 'cost-of-living buster' tickets for every event. We're also excited to share our plans for the annual Castlegate Festival, which returns on 20th September for the annual free street event outside the venue, again platforming amazing locally, nationally and internationally recognised artists at our FREE 14+ hour event across 4 venues. Sheffield crew, get ready to dive deep! For our contribution to this year's Fringe at Tramlines, Plot 22 and Panke are joining forces for Double Bubble – a two-venue explosion right here on Exchange Street covering all styles of underground dance music across the weekend! On Friday 25th you can expect a journey through the 140-175+ BPM spectrum – bangers and bubblers of all genres from garage, bassline, and dubstep to drum and bass, jungle, hardcore, footwork and beyond. On Saturday 26th you can expect a wonderful excursion through the 120-140 bpm region – bubbly acid, groovy disco-house cuts, techy bangers and everything in between. We're also doing our best to channel that original Tramlines energy, keeping the tickets affordable and the vibes high. We're running 12-5 both nights and we're keepin' it LOCAL all weekend, showcasing the underground DJs we have right here on our doorstep.
