At Oscura, we believe in the power of sound to transform spaces and elevate emotions. As darkness falls, we will ignite a journey through meticulously crafted sets that explore the depths of progressive house. Our events will be a sonic expedition from warm, enveloping basslines to soaring melodies that linger in the mind long after the night ends.

About OSCURA

OSCURA

Oscura was born from a desire to fill a gap — not just in the event calendar, but in the deeper soul of the electronic music scene in Leeds.

We believe progressive house is more than a genre. It’s a feeling. A sound that unfolds slowly and purposefully. A journey where each track is chosen not just for what it sounds like, but what it evokes. While cities like Manchester, London and Glasgow have embraced this movement, Leeds — despite its rich music heritage — has yet to carve out a dedicated space for this sound.

We want to change that.

Oscura is our vision of what progressive house can be: deep, cinematic, hypnotic and emotionally charged. We take inspiration from the global scene — from Argentina to Australia — and from the artists pushing boundaries across Anjunadeep, Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Lost & Found and beyond. But we also want to shape something uniquely local. Something intimate, high quality, and intentionally curated.

Through thoughtfully designed day-into-night experiences, immersive soundscapes, and bookings that balance international pioneers with rising underground talent, we aim to grow a connected, open-minded community. One where music lovers aren’t chasing drops, but journeys.

This isn’t just a party. It’s the start of a movement.

“When light fades, sound begins.”
