Hidden away in the heart of Leicester, Moonshine is a speakeasy-inspired cocktail bar and live entertainment venue made for nights worth staying out for.

Step inside and you'll find low lighting, intimate tables, handcrafted cocktails and a carefully curated programme of live music, DJs and events. Inspired by the atmosphere of prohibition-era speakeasies, live jazz clubs and late-night lounges, Moonshine brings something a little different to Leicester nightlife.

Live music sits at the heart of what we do, with performers taking to the Moonshine stage every Friday and Saturday evening. Expect everything from jazz, soul and Motown to acoustic sets, contemporary favourites, vintage twists and full live bands, followed by DJs taking things later into the night.

Throughout the calendar you'll also find Bottomless Brunch on selected Saturdays, vinyl-led sessions, seasonal events, special performances and one-off nights alongside our regular programme.

Our bar serves a carefully considered selection of handcrafted cocktails, spirits, beers, wines and alcohol-free options, with Happy Hour available on selected evenings.

Entry to Moonshine is often free, with tickets available for selected special events. For live music nights, guests can also book a table in advance to secure some of the best seats in the house and enjoy table service throughout the evening.
