Tomato Throwing Festival UK

The famous tomato throwing festival (or La Tomatina) originally started in 1944. After two men, in political protest began throwing tomatoes at people through the streets of Buñol.

La Tomatina Buñol has inspired similar celebrations in other parts of the world including Colorado, Colombia, China, Nevada & India. Now finally La Tomatina comes to the United Kingdom.

Manchester will play host to literally the most epic day of your life at the end of summer for an event quite literally like nothing you have ever done before.

We will be running both over 18's sessions and separate family sessions.

🍅 Advice and guidelines 🍅

- The tomatoes have to be squashed before throwing to avoid injuries.

- Wear clothes and shoes that you dont mind throwing away, or use a tomato festival onesie.

- Do not wear flipflops as this often results in injury.

- No other projectiles except tomatoes are allowed.

- Participants have to make way for trucks and lorries.

- Bottles or hard objects are not permitted as they can cause accidents and hurt other participants.

- You can only throw tomatoes during the battle times.
