Summer is finally here and we have a characteristically varied and diverse programme across IWF, Factory Garden, Kave & Rollerdrome to fill your boots over the coming months. Starting this Saturday as our pals 909 bring the legendary Henry Saiz back to our garden followed by an after party on The Sun Palace Sound System in Substation. Yet another bank holiday is upon us and we're taking full advantage of an extra night on the tiles with 3 events in KAVE followed by London's enigmatic young sensation MOCHAKK headlining our Main Hall on Sunday night. Then on Saturday 1st June, the incredible Symphonica Orchestra feat Mr Switch bring us an Ibiza Classics Extravaganza performed by the 30 piece ensemble. Not to be missed!!! *** TONIGHT *** Amorphic Music presents a true underground supergroup, RUINSZU at The Kazimier Stockroom, two of the greatest noise / prog / experimental bands of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, Japanese Zeuhl pioneers, RUINS and Italian jazz-core behemoth ZU have joined forces to create a brand new trio presenting music from both bands expansive back catalogues PLUS brand new compositions written for this project. Two legendary-in-their-fields bands, that have deservedly earned cult status over the last 25 years, releasing countless albums, collaborations and touring the world almost continuously, their virtuosic musicianship, ability to combine and meld genres and styles of play seamlessly and fierce DIY mentality has set them apart as true talismanic figures and pioneers of global left field music. PLUS, Liverpool based experimental producer and stalwart of the city’s underground scene, @ancientplastix will be opening the show. Doors at 7pm. See you there!
