Emerging from North London’s early rave scene, Tayla became closely linked with LTJ Bukem and the legendary Good Looking Records movement, helping shape the deeper, jazz-infused sound that defined intelligent jungle in the 90s. Tracks like “Bang The Drums”, “Remnants” and the timeless “Bringing Me Down” with Aquarius (Photek) remain underground classics. Known for soulful textures, rolling breaks and cinematic atmospheres, Tayla built a reputation for quality over quantity, influencing generations of producers while staying rooted in the deeper side of drum & bass culture.
