IDALBERTO ALCALA -
Is an International Master of Cuban Dance, ex-Havana Night choreographer and performer and nine times winner of the World renown Havana Carnival for best choreography, costume design and music.

He began dancing at a very early age, later selected to train at the most prestigious performing arts schools in Cuba (Variedades School, National School of Cuban Folklore and Theatre School for Tropicana) where he studied dance (Afro Cuban dance technique and authentic interpretation, folk, ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary), music, theatre and director of Arts.

WILL EL BAILADOR -
Originally from Brazil and new (emerging) talented Latino Dancer, Instructor and DJ based in Thanet. Will has been working with Idalberto over last 3 years to focus and improve his knowledge on all elements of Afro-Latin dances to continue delivering regular classes.

Will has been in the Salsa scene for 10+ years originally starting with Cross Body style also discovering Bachata and other styles.

As he progressed, he started to explore other styles of music and dance through his passion for dance history, and thus he discovered Cuban Dance officially by taking his first class Orishas class and was instantly hooked. Since then, he has never looked back and focuses on all aspects of Cuban Dance to fuse his character on the floor.

As A DJ, Will is all about Cuban Style always playing a combinations of the latest and classics in Timba, Son, and off course, Samba. He is an AVID fan of all Reggaeton styles and is establishing himself as the newest Latino DJ in the area. He likes to mix tracks together to develop his own styles of music and dance and you can often see him adding different styles of dance when on the dance floor.

As a name, CUBA-BAILA are now based in Broadstairs hosting regular workshops and events in Ramsgate and Broadstairs. However, Idalberto is often travelling throughout Europe for Cuban Dance Events and Shows, notably to Italy where he works with Latin Cuba.
