Apogee Events

A P O G E E

Apogee Events is an events company set up by a group of like minded students from Bournemouth University. The choice of Apogee as the name is due to the two meanings of the word. The first meaning is that it refers to the highest point of development or climax of something and the second meaning stems from astronomy, which has significance as space is such a fascination to all of us.

The main ethos of the company is to create a variety of events running frequently not just in music but a range of activities, for all ages. Also, in all the events that take place we will donate all revenue (minus the costs) to multiple charities in Bournemouth. The promotion of artists, pubs, bars and cafés in the local community is another key principle which we are pursuing. Finally, the main aim is to allow people to engage positively socially and in the knowledge that the event they are attending the money goes to people who need the support the most.
