Ahead of the main event we make our way to The Globe for three (!) AELIUS RISING events as a way for us to shine a spotlight on even more incredible artists! On the 13th of February Hels Pattison, CRANE HOUSE, and FAWNS will be performing their stunning alternative folk sounds live and we can't wait! Tickets are on sale now.

We couldn't be more excited to announce the line-up for our very first AELIUS RISING! Modern, energetic, jazz-tinged, groovy outfit Phantom Bagman will be headlining The Globe Upstairs on the 9th of January with incredible wordsmiths Sophie Gordan and J Lewis! Tickets are on sale now.

Newcastle-based multi-venue music festival Aelius Alternative makes its third return on Saturday the 18th of April at Head of Steam, The Globe, and Mosaic Tap. Over the past two years, Aelius Alternative has supported over 160 creatives, worked with over 35 partners, and helped celebrate 6 grassroots music venues. Over 300 people attended the festival last year and with a great and dedicated team of content creators and local press we are gearing up for our third edition. We are again working with national organisation Tonic Music for Mental Health, local music academy NAME, Scottish gig swap platform Off Axis, and management agency Night Owl Promotions! Line-up will be announced soon.
