Situated in the heart of Bournemouth, a stones throw from the golden sands of the beach, we are part of the first hotel to be built back in the 1800’s. This grand Victorian residence found itself nestled into the slopes of Pier Approach with views straight out over Poole Bay. The building was originally built for Captain Lewis Tregonwell who’s tales of smuggling liquor and contraband still keep ears wagging to this very day…

Our aptly named 1812 Lounge Bar has been pioneering local hospitality for over 15 years and offers a unique slice of live Funk & Soul music, whilst enjoying our irresistible cocktails.
