BOMBA LIVE PRESENTS: Mr Tea And The Minions Ez Dickens
--
Friday night at Bomba and this one’s about colour, chaos and full-body movement... Mr Tea and The Minions don’t sit neatly in one lane anymore, and that’s the point. Their sound pulls from everywhere - Balkan and folk melodies, ska and dub rhythms, flashes of rock and metal weight, all stitched together into something high-energy and genuinely their own. Led by Elle’s powerful, commanding vocals and Lucy’s folk fiddle cutting through the noise, their live shows feel more like a shared event than a band on a stage. They play hard, dance harder, and drag the room in with them. Theatrical, wild, and unapologetically fun, they treat the crowd as part of the band rather than spectators. With new material landing and already going off live, this is a band very much in their current moment. On support, Ez Dickens brings sharp songwriting, big grooves and infectious energy. Blending alternative singer-songwriter roots with reggae, ska, dub, hip-hop and gypsy-folk influences, her sets are personal, punchy and impossible to ignore.
