In accordance with UKATA document A0022, this course covers:
· Asbestos types, uses and likely occurrence in different materials
· How to avoid the risks
· Legislation relating to asbestos
· Finally, an assessment, in the form of a multiple choice questionnaire.
Practical: the course involves interactive exercises and practical elements, including viewing fibres and asbestos containing materials under the microscopes, in the UKAS accredited lab.
Includes: all training materials, a light breakfast and refreshments.
Certificate: a UKATA certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of this course.
Method of learning: can be tailored. Classroom based (in-company or in house), online or distance learning.
Appropriate for: anyone who might come into contact with or needs to recognise asbestos and the dangers.

If you cancel at least 28 working days prior to the start of the course you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administration fee.
If you cancel between 28 and 10 working days prior to the start of the course you will receive a 50% refund.
If you cancel less than 10 working days before the event you will not be entitled to a refund.
No refund will be made for non-attendance on the course.
