HOT VOX Presents: ALIENS + WHALLS + BLACK SURF

Led by Del Amitri's Iain Harvie and writer & film-maker, Tim May, ALIENS began life as a song writing project in 2016. As terrorist attacks continued, Syria descended into chaos, the Brexit storm broke, and Trump slouched towards the White House, the themes of the songs crystallised. So did the sound – a swirling mix of rock n roll guitars and driving pop hooks. To deliver the goods live, Iain and Tim are joined by Helen Turner (Paul Weller and Style Council) on keys, Shriekback's Martyn Barker on drums and multi-instrumentalist,Tommy Sheen.
