Hot Vox Presents: 

Sloes are a five-piece indie band based in London. The band first came about when members Jerome and Jo travelled through Colombia and began writing songs together. Paul and Luke came on board shortly after adding rhythm and guitar, followed by Jo’s little sister Katie who provided violin, bridging their electric and acoustic intentions.  A basement in Dalston became home to their early development. Fusing together elements of indie, pop and folk with soaring vocal melodies, ambient guitar lines and rousing hooks, Sloes take the best of their eclectic influences to create one unique sound.

Joy Crookes is a seventeen year old singer/songwriter from South London. Joy has recently performed at Highroad House, Balham's The Bedford, Wilkestock, On Blackheath festival and at Shapes Hackney. Joy is currently in the studio writing her debut album and already grabbing industry attention with her unique lyrics and haunting voice.

Departing from her native city of Zurich, Ella On The Run studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in the US and began recording in LA with producer/co- writer Matthew Bang (Interscope, Timbaland's Mosley Music group). From there she re-located to London where her synth-drenched vibes have since garnered attention from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and she has performed sold out UK shows with fellow European songstresses such as Tove Styrke.
