COMEDY UNLEASHED – Edgy Comedy is Back!

Having consistently sold out shows in London for the past 5 years,Comedy Unleashed brings more of its refreshing brand of stand-up comedy to The Hifi Club in Leeds.

Comedy Unleashed nights showcase comedians who have a spirit of exploration, are counter-cultural and eschew the bland and predictable. And, if a comedian gets cancelled, we like to put them on. The audience should be the only judge and if something is funny… it’s funny. Here’s a video from the London club.

Adam Bloom

Adam is a comic genius and author of 'Finding You Comedy Genius' and producer of three series of his own Radio 4 show, The Problem with Adam Bloom. You have to see this guy!

Radu Isac

Radu's comedy career matches his personal hygiene standards - very high. He started out in Bucharest, but prefers the UK.

Cressida Wetton

Cressida appears on GB News satirical news review show Headliners and has appeared on BBC Radio 4 Extra and numerous shows at the Edinburgh Fringe including ‘Small Town Fools” – a show about provincial life in Gloucestershire, one of her favourite topics.

Howard Smith

Howard H Smith’s career started 30 years ago fronting thrash metal band Acid Reign which saw him head banging around the world as a fresh faced teenager. Since then 25 years of stand-up have seen him develop into a razor sharp comedian whose diminutive frame belies an awesome stage presence.

Bruce Devlin

A man of delightfully acerbic wit and the sharpest of lines.

Doors: 6:30pm until 10:00pm with the first comedian onstage at 7:30pm. Please arrive at the venue by 7:00pm so you can get a drink and get sat down before the first act. If you turn up after 7:00pm you may have to wait until the next available interval to be allowed in.

Tickets are sold for the Comedy Night as an event and not for individual comedians. Line-ups are subject to change. All acts are confirmed at time of booking. Occasionally, acts may be replaced for reasons beyond our control. If this happens the act will be replaced with a suitable alternative. We do our best to keep the listings (on our calendar page) as up to date as feasibly possible with the current situation. Fancy dress is not permitted. At the discretion of management and security of The HiFi Club, same sex groups of 5 or more may be asked for a behavioural bond of £10 per person upon entry to ensure the smooth running of the comedy show. This behavioural bond will be returned at the end of the show as long as the rules of the venue have been adhered to.
