On Rotation 5th Birthday: Courtesy & Darwin

5 years! Blimey. We've come a long way since those first events at the 212 all the way back in 2014, with residents rotating and our spiritual home changing. Huge thanks to everyone who's supported our parties, lent us equipment, helped out in any way, or come to play for us. It's been a stressful ride at times but well worth it 💓

To celebrate a half decade of parties in Leeds we've enlisted two of techno's most vibrant characters to help soundtrack our anniversary. We got to know both of these wonderful people at Dimensions last year and were galvanised by their infectious personalities and charisma on the decks.

Courtesy and Darwin have been heading from strength to strength lately, with both DJs developing into artists with clear sonic identities. Darwin's genre hopping, bass heavy UK ethos is underpinned in the extremely varied bookings she makes for her Reef parties, whilst Courtesy champions the fast trancey techno sound of Copenhagen, interspersed with a UK flavour that could see her play anything from 90s tech house to half time DnB. On warm up duties for this one will be our resident UK music nerd Alex T. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a special birthday celebration 💘🔮🙏🏻
