La Rumba presents: Esa (Extended Set)

After our epic Leeds launch with Bellaire, we're back in Wire for an end-of-term blowout with one of our previous guests and all time favourite DJs, Esa, for an extended set.

Starting out in Cape Town, Esa has travelled the world over as part of the legendary band Ata Kak, consuming music from all parts of the world. His UK journey began in Glasgow where he soon became involved in the House & Techno scene and built strong relationships with Auntie Flo and Sub Club, leading to several releases on the Highlife world series before moving to London.

Since then, the Dekmantel-afilliate has gained appraisal on the global circuit with his Worldwide FM residency and an amazing Boiler Room set at Dekmantel 2017. Fast-forwarding to present day, he's now Phonox's latest Saturday night resident where his all-night long sets span just about every genre across the musical spectrum, honing his skills as a truly eclectic DJ.
