Manchester favourites Shimrise, and Liverpool's freshest export Lazywax join forces with Do As You Please for an unforgettable night at Joshua Brooks.

On Friday, 21st June 2024, Do As You Please will make their long-awaited return to Joshua Brooks' bar and basement, this time accompanied by two exciting collaborators: Manchester's own Shimrise and Liverpool's hottest trio, Lazywax.

Shimrise has been making waves in the Manchester scene and beyond, showcasing their fun-loving energy and versatility behind the decks at key UK events such as Parklife, Kendal Calling, and The Warehouse Project. They're set to make their Joshua Brooks debut alongside Do As You Please.

Hailing from Liverpool, Lazywax is a DJ trio, party series, and record label quickly gaining traction. With recent slots at Baltic Weekender warming up for heavyweights like Shanti Celeste and Sally C, plus a 6-month residency at The Kazimier in Liverpool, Lazywax is poised for a busy summer.

Expect a night filled with house, electro, minimal, tech-house, and everything in between as Shimrise and Lazywax take over the decks, ensuring the dancefloor stays pumping all night.

Residents Joe Roche, Sharples, and Blehrin will be stepping up to support, while Dowd, ell.iot, DJ Peach Iced Tea, and more round out this stacked lineup.
