Donate to the Ronnie Scott's Charitable Foundation Instrument Amnesty

Saturday 20th July, 10am-4pm 

Do you have a lonely clarinet in a cupboard? A bass guitar in the basement? Clear out your closets and look in your loft because we want your instruments that you don't!  

Donate your unwanted or unused instrument (in good condition) to the Ronnie Scott's Charitable Foundation Instrument Amnesty, and it will go to a young person to help support their music education in the UK or abroad.

Since 2015, the initiative has donated 350 instruments to beneficiaries in need of instrument provision. Beneficiaries have included Play for Progress in Croydon, which delivers therapeutic and educational arts programmes for child refugees across London; Kinetika Bloco, a performance group in Tulse Hill, which engages South London Youth with creative arts; and In Place Of War in Manchester, a global organisation who empowers communities in places of conflict using creativity as a tool for positive change.

Musicians like Jools Holland and Christian Scott have already pledged their support for this year's campaign, so get involved and help support the next generation of jazz musicians.

How do I donate?

If you would like to donate an instrument, please fill out the form on the dedicated page in the link below. The Foundation’s team will get back to you and send you an email confirmation. Then, bring your instrument along to Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Frith Street, Soho, London, W1D 4HT between 10am-4pm on Saturday 20th July. Our Street Party is happening on the same day and there will lots of people around, including staff to help you with anything.
  
For larger donations or drop offs with a car, please email Fatine Boumaaz in advance on fatine@ronniescotts.co.uk for further instructions. We advise bringing your instruments before 2pm if possible as Frith Street will be pedestrain access-only on that day for our Street Party.
