The Alchemy are a thrilling new British rock band, crafting catchy and anthemic songs from a subconscious

blend of the Rock, Indie and Electronic music. Formed in Canterbury in 2015, the band released their debut

EP in April 2016. ‘Modern Age’ was well received by UK Independent press, radio and music TV and laid the

foundations for the band’s sound.

The Alchemy released the first single from the album ‘Give Me The Sky’ in November 2018 receiving praise

from BBC Introducing, Kerrang! & Scuzz TV. The Alchemy then signed to US record label Standby Records.

Both their EP and debut album were well received racking up over 250,000 streams.

On the live side the bands' energetic shows secured them support slots from Mallory Knox, I Am Giant and

The Intersphere. These performances proved The Alchemy could hold their own on the larger stage. After

developing a following, the band sold out shows in their hometown of Canterbury and began to spread

across the UK with small headline tours. The band have honed their performance into a high caliber rock

show with programmed lighting, audience interaction culminating in an energetic live experience.

In 2020, their progress on the live scene halted due to the pandemic. The Alchemy, now independent took to

building a studio to record their next album. In 2022 'Idle Ghosts' was released receiving support again from

BBC Introducing as well as every single receiving official Spotify playlisting.

The band released their new album in November 2023 funded by Help Musicians and receiving support from

Planet Rock, Emerging Rock Bands and BBC Introducing along with editorial playlisting across streaming

sites. 2024 will see the release of more new music as the band continue their momentum on the live scene.
