Michelle Charters

Michelle is an award winning
Equality and Diversity Champion and the CEO of Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre, which is a multi-cultural, multi-purpose space with its roots firmly placed in community activism and diversity.


Dominique Walker

Honourary Fellow and Founder of the Anthony Walker Foundation, Dominique is also Vice-Chair of the Merseyside Black Police Association and a lead trainer on the Phoenix Leadership Programme, the Merseyside Police recruitment programme, which is addressing under representation within the service.


Shaqil Chaudary

Doctor and Programme Leader of Pharmancy and Biomedical Science, Shaqil is the author of various publications and an advocate of BAME equality in higher education.


Moni Akinsanya

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager at LJMU, Moni has founded numerous initiatives, events, conferences and workshops raising awareness of equality and diversity to ensure that a culture that embraces diversity is embedded throughout the University.


David Diagienda

David is a second year journalism student at LJMU and treasurer of the John Moores Students' Union Afro Caribbean Society.
