Headliner Alfie Brown

"Quite simply the future of British stand-up"

★★★★★ Brian Donaldson - The List

Natural stage presence combined with explosive material makes for a thrilling performance every time he hits the stage.

Constantly evolving and striving for ways to innovate, Alfie can move from hour-long idea driven shows to tight sets in various clubs effortlessly.

Opening - Tim Biglowe

Tim is a British comedian known for his engaging storytelling style, often drawing on humorous personal experiences. His recent show, Grease Monkey, was well-received at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, where he entertained audiences with anecdotes about life as a newlywed living on a canal boat, his unexpected turn as a mechanic.

Mark Devine local funnyman- Comedy Takeover Resident Host/MC

"Mark returns to the Liverpool Irish Centre for his 9th Comedy Takeover, drawing audiences back time and again for a brilliant night of comedy. Known for his quick wit and relatable anecdotes, Mark's likable personality ensures a memorable experience for all." Alan Finnigan BGT finalist.

Mark Quinn

LIVE AT THE APOLLO, MOCK THE WEEK, HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU.......YES MARK QUINN LOST ALL OF THESE RECORDINGS WHEN SKY DIGITAL DECIDED TO UPGRADE HIS SET TOP BOX.

FAR FROM BEING UPSET THOUGH MARK CHANNELED THIS FRUSTRATION INTO COMEDY WHICH HAS SEEN HIM PERFORM IN PLACES SUCH AS THE TOP FLOOR OF SHENANIGANS, THE TOP FLOOR OF ROUND THE CORNER LIVERPOOL AND OF COURSE THE BASEMENT OF HOT WATER COMEDY CLUB.

Tom Owen

Tom Owen sees the absolutely bizarre and insane in everyday life, why does Hooters have a delivery service? Should a Ginsters pasty be counted as a 'side' on a Tesco Meal Deal (still awaiting that sponsorship deal)? And can he survive when he doesn't believe in the dinosaurs?

Please note that doors open at 7pm & the show starts at 8pm until 10.30pm approximately. The centre wallet friendly bar, will be open until midnight, for you to continue enjoying the mighty craic with friends late into the evening.

The centre has a free carpark and is wheelchair accessible.

The promotor reserves the right to make line-up changes, have flash sales and other promotions. Refunds will only be made, if, in the unlikely event that the comedy show is cancelled.
