"After 3 years of releasing music, Yorkshire born and bred Too Common announces his latest project with "An Opportunity to Leave" - an 8 track EP featuring by far his best sounding work to date.The adopted Geordie has thrived in recent times, often referred to as one of the best in the local scene after coming up through local open mic events and live shows. This year saw his first festival bookings, where he played at both local festivals, West Ben Fest (Morpeth) and Lindisfarne (Beal Farm).'

An Opportunity to Leave' is a project which plays with his thought processes around fleeing his small hometown in East Yorkshire. TC is constantly reminding the listener that there is greater opportunity in escaping the small town-mindset and being stuck in the same routine. Through the undertones of retiring from his hometown, the Goole native speaks of manifesting a career in music, maintaining relationships as well as making necessary life changes in order to achieve his dreams.

The EP has features from AP3 & 40KAL, two promising local rappers who have been working on music with Too Common for a while now. Another feature from 'Birdwatching' however is certainly a welcome one. Cousin to TC, Birdwatching has spent time jumping back and forth from Australia to Newcastle to help work on this project, laying down a thought-provoking hook on the track 'Beauty and Bile'.-Support TBA- See less
