DJ Yoda & Friends

DJ Yoda is a hip-hop DJ and producer like no other. Respected globally for his turntablism, he performed at Banksy’s Dismaland, and was first choice guest mixer on Dr Dre’s inaugural Beats 1 show. An audio-visual pioneer, chopping and splicing movies with the same style that he repurposes samples, his acclaimed commissions for the BFI and 6 Music have been boundary pushing. His recent Breakfast of Champions album and band payed homage to hip-hop’s golden age, playing to sell-out crowds throughout the UK. And with new studio and audio-visual projects, and his all-embracing DJ sets, things couldn’t be going better for DJ Yoda.

Big afro, big voice, big beats is what Eva Lazarus is all about. Her musical flavours span across genres from Reggae to DnB, Jungle to Hip Hop, Soul and beyond! With support and several radio plays from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Capital and Kiss FM – expect an electric performance from the Birmingham talent next month.

BAM was formerly a member of the American hip-hop group who pioneered the fusion of jazz, hip-hop, jungle and bass! Bam also helped form the hip-hop super group Native Tongues whose members included Queen Latifah and Q-Tip. Young MC Rex Domino has already collaborated with DJ Yoda on the Breakfast of Champions project, and his solo tracks are already getting him some great attention.
